Judy Fourie, President of The Fourie Group and founder of Fourie Insurance in Cary, NC, has been providing insurance strategies since 1980. When she took her first underwriter’s class, Judy knew she wanted to own her own agency. Today, she uses her insurance experience every day along with a strong commitment to customer service, guiding clients to the right insurance plans with a trust they can count on. Judy is very dedicated to the community and serves on the Wake Tech Foundation Board, Salvation Army Board, NAWBO Board and on the Apex Chamber of Commerce Board.
Amanda Williams has been involved with real estate since 2008. She has been a private money lender for Fix-N-Flip Deals, flipped homes herself, bought and sold homes on lease options, subject- to, and owner financed deals and has been a licensed realtor in North Carolina since 2013 serving both buyers and sellers. She currently manages a nice size rental portfolio of her own and helps other agents reach their goals in real estate brokerage and investments. Amanda is a public speaker and hosts numerous events every month for investors, business owners, and realtors. Her passion is traveling the world and teaching people how to generate multiple streams of income through real estate.
SHANON MADRID is the owner of Sunbelt Business Brokers of the Triangle and Triad. She has over 30 years’ experience in mergers and acquisitions, business development, finance and business entrepreneurship. She is a retired SVP in banking and was successful structuring numerous sound financing packages for the Sunbelt Business Broker organization selling small to midsize businesses. Her enjoyment is making dreams a reality and guiding the business owner and prospective buyers through the challenges and opportunities of owning a business. She is a subject matter expert in the Defense Industry and SBA financing. She has an extensive understanding of B2B Services, Healthcare, HVAC, Restaurant, Construction, Light Manufacturing, Distribution, Defense Contracting, and Retail in the Raleigh, Durham, Fayetteville, and Greensboro marketplace.
Shanon’s background includes experience with sales process and procedure improvement, recruiting, sales promotion and marketing, prospecting, sales force management and strategic planning. She has a solid track record as a skilled negotiator and is proactive in transaction management. Ms. Madrid has held several senior level executive positions and has sat on many professional and business boards for small and middle-sized companies. The strength of Ms. Madrid’s prior financial background gives her the ability to guide business owners through the sales process, providing sound cash flow analysis and business evaluation to maximize the after-tax proceeds from the sale of their business.
Ms. Madrid also has 30 years in the United States Air Force Reserve, Lieutenant Colonel, and is currently serving as a Medical Administrator, Director of Operations for a Medical Air Evacuation Squadron. She is a seasoned Combat Veteran with 4 deployments to her name. She holds true to several core values which is to provide the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality; while minimizing the time and stress typically experienced in negotiating the transfer of ownership of privately-held businesses. She received her undergraduate degree in Health Science from New Mexico State University and her Master’s in Business from Central Michigan University. She enjoys mountain biking and hiking and is married with a 5-year-old daughter who keeps her young.
